This piece was my work for mini-thesis. I was given three choices of projects to pick from to work on and treat as a miniature version of a thesis project. My assignment was to create character art inspired by chess pieces. I decided to create a poster format illustration of both the white and black versions of each piece in a mirrored composition that you’d be able to flip either way you want. Beyond pencil sketches, this piece was created digitally in Adobe Photoshop.
